A free-of-charge piece of advice to all politicians: if you can help it, never speak after Barack Obama. You’ll just come off sounding old and tired, and, quite possibly, anti-hope, which is never inspiring.
Actually, no. I take that back. Go ahead and speak after Obama. It will only serve to illustrate how old and tired and uninspiring you really are, and maybe the rest of the electorate will join us and come around to the first truly dynamic candidate we’ve seen in a long, long time.
